That night we took a private boat ride to a fishing village on Tonle Sap Lake which is one of Asia's largest lakes during the wet season. The village had everything from floating schools to churches to restaurants with nearly 6,000 residents.
This is an orphaned boy paddling in a large bowl out to a boat asking for "one dolla". Our boat driver told us not to give the kids any money because they have to give it to the police. Also, all of the orphans (roughly 100 in this village) live in the floating school.
Next stop: Thailand. Almost done!
